Centennial Park the site of many Olympic events, CNN Center the center of world news, Turner Field the home of the World Champion Atlanta Braves, the birthplace of Martin Luther King, Jr., the home of Coca-Cola, CDC the Centers for Disease Control, the historic Fox Theater, the Margaret Mitchell House where "Gone with the Wind" was penned, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and the High Museum of Art are just the tip of things / places to do.

When it comes to shopping, Atlanta offers the best. Phipps Plaza with Tiffany's and Saks Fifth Avenue, Lenox Mall boasts the biggest collection of retail in the southeast including Neiman-Marcus and FAO Schwartz, and Perimeter Mall the home to Nordstroms department store.
